South 13 - North 8

In a hard fought game, the South won their 8th straight game against the North by pulling out a 13-8 victory. At halftime, the game was 8-7 in favor of the North, and in the early 4th quarter, Dana Brown of Clairton scored to seal the victory for the South. Clairton's Dana Brown was named the Game MVP.

1st Qtr: North - South quarterback Brad Dawson (Thomas Jefferson) tackled in the end zone by Bob Johnson (Burrell) for a safety (North 2-0)

This site contains an extensive amount of information about our annual high school football all-star game, held annually at Norwin stadium. Read the welcome from our Chairman Rich Siniawski. We also have further info about this annual event and about this site. The entire north and south rosters are available online.
Pre-game activities this Saturday, June 18, from 4 to 7 p.m., include the College Football Hall of Fame "Road Show" Bus, a traveling display of artifacts and memorabilia from the College Hall of Fame in South Bend, Ind.
Also available will be the Steelers Experience, an interactive theme park where fans of all ages will have the chance to participate in a number of football-related activities.
Through the Guardian Kids I.D. Program, presented by Armstrong, there will be an opportunity to have children fingerprinted and photographed at no charge.

Coach Cherpak of PIAA Champion TJ to coach south squad
Coach Bill Cherpak of Thomas Jefferson will head the South team in our 10th annual Foothills Football Classic. Coach Cherpak, who led TJ to the PIAA-AAA championship and was named AAA Coach of the year, will have a talented squad to lead.
Veteran Coach Muzzy Colisimo to lead north squad
Colisimo, who recently completed his 10th season as Head Coach of Greensburg Central Catholic, is a veteran, highly respected coach in the WPIAL.
